Meet the Staff of Advanced Dental Care
Annie Higgins – Office Manager
Annie was born and raised in Johnson City, Tennessee. She graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. After graduating college she worked for 911 for 6 years then, prior to moving to Valdosta, she managed a dental practice in Johnson City for 10 years. Annie has been with ADC since 2011, starting at the front desk and working her way to Office Manager in 2013. Annie has 2 dogs, a Boxer (Sadie) and a German Shephard (Nitro). On the weekends she spends most of her time on the road traveling to watch her son race late model asphalt cars. During football season she is cheering on the UT Vols! Annie loves storms and riding with the storm chasers is on her bucket list! If you have any questions- she’s your girl!
Nicole Reid – Scheduling Coordinator
Nicole was born in Ecuador and moved to the United States when she was two. She was raised in Lilburn, Georgia. She attended Parkview High School, where she met her husband, Will. The two of them, along with their two daughters, have called Valdosta home since October 2021. Nicole has been in the dental field since 2016, and couldn't see herself any where else. When football season rolls around she is cheering for the Auburn Tigers (war eagle!)
Katelyn Wilkes - Scheduling Coordinator
Katelyn grew up in Dallas, Tx and moved to Valdosta in 2007. She graduated from Valdosta High School. Go Cats! She is married and has two children, Brooks and Peyton Jane. Katelyn has loved learning everything dental as she just started in 2019. She loves to do anything that involves a good cookout!!
Raquel Villegas - Insurance Coordinator
Raquel graduated from Valley View High School in California. She has been with ADC since July 2016 and brings over 18 years of dental experience to our team. She is married with three boys, and loves spending time outdoors with her family. Raquel is terrified of frogs and would love to have a shopping spree at Ulta or Sephora.
Julie Smith- Scheduling Coordinator
Julie was born and raised in Valdosta. She graduated from Lowndes high school and Valdosta State College. She joined the ADC family in February 2021 as a Hygiene/Scheduling Coordinator. She has 3 sons. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and loves dark chocolate.
Marissa Moore- Scheduling Coordinator
Marissa was raised in Jacksonville, FL. She attended Valdosta State University where she graduated with a bachelors degree in business management and met her husband Will. Marissa joined ADC in the fall of 2022 and has loved learning about dentistry. She enjoys going to concerts, hitting the gym, and playing trivia.
Christine Rangel-Scheduling Coordinator
I was born and raised in Miami, Florida but I lived in Gainesville for 6 years. (Go Gators) I’ve known my husband Ozzy since I was 12 years old! On the weekends, I love to spend my time outdoors or at the beach. Ozzy and I share a pup named Dexter. I’ve been in the dental field since 2021 and have loved learning everything about it.
Morgan Long, RDH - Hygienist
Morgan was born in Thomaston, Georgia. She moved to Valdosta when she was 7 years old, and this has been her home ever since. She graduated from Valdosta High School in 2012. GO CATS!! She then attended Valdosta State University, and Wiregrass Technical College where her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene was obtained. She loves being active, whether it's in the gym, outdoors running, or playing with her Bernadoodle, Winnie.
Crystal Prine, RDH - Hygienist
Crystal grew up in Valdosta, graduating from Valdosta High School, (Go Cats!) and Valdosta State University in 2013 as a Dental Hygienist. Crystal’s favorite part of the dental field is getting to know her patients and educating them on dental care. She and her husband, Chase got married in 2016 and she is a dog mom to Jewel and Trigger. Crystal loves to go skiing, shopping, and be on the lake.
Jennifer Doetsch, RDH – Hygienist
Jennifer is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. She attended Valdosta State University and graduated with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She joined the ADC family in 2015. Jennifer lives in Hahira, Georgia with her husband Jason and their rescue dog, Zeus. Jennifer loves being outdoors and will do anything for an adrenaline rush including, skydiving, parasailing and zip lining! Jennifer also loves traveling and has been to Jamaica, Haiti, Dominic Republic, Mexico, St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, and the Cayman Islands. She tries to travel to at least one new place every year! There isn't really anything this girl won't try!
Lauren Conine, RDH - Hygienist
Lauren is from Nashville, Ga. She graduated from Valdosta State University in 2015 as a Dental Hygienist, she has been part of the ADC team since then. Lauren loves getting to know her patients and educating them on their dental health. She lives in Lakeland with her husband Allen, daughter Elli, and dog Luke. Lauren enjoys running and spending time with her family. Lauren’s favorite place to eat is Chicken Salad Chick!
Annie Whittington, RDH – Hygienist
Annie is from Homerville, Georgia, where she graduated from Clinch County High School in 2009. She then attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and Middle Georgia Technical College where she graduated in 2013 with and Associate in Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Annie joined the ADC family in 2017. If Annie is not out celebrating Taco Tuesday or Thirsty Thursday, she is on her porch grilling and listening to 90's country!!
Elizabeth Elkins, RDH, Hygienist
Elizabeth is Dr. Hancock’s hygienist. She was born and raised in Valdosta, where she graduated from Valdosta High School in 2016. She went on to Valdosta State University and Wiregrass to obtain her degree in Dental Hygiene. Elizabeth is excited to be a part of the team at ADC. She loves meeting new patients and educating them on oral health! If she is not at our office, you can find her eating sushi, spending time with her family, and her Bichon puppy, Gus.
Angela Pitts- Dental Assistant
Angela is a Dental Assistant for Dr. Ashley Moorman. She was born in Valdosta, GA and had two grown children, Austin and Kaylon. She has worked at Advanced Dental Care on two separate occasions over the last 20 years and brings 25+ years of experience and knowledge to ADC. Angela loves singing karaoke and is an avid Alabama football fan.
Kasey Lucas - Dental Assistant
Kasey is a Dental Assistant and works chairside with Dr. Woodward. She has worked in dentistry for over 14 years. Kasey was born and raised here in Valdosta and attended Georgia Military College and Valdosta State University. Kasey is married with 2 beautiful children and in her free time she loves to do any activities that involve being outdoors, traveling and painting.
Phyllis Sparks – Dental Assistant
Phyllis graduated from Berrien High School. Phyllis later attended VSU for several computer classes. She has worked chairside with Dr. Bill Moorman for over 40 years. Phyllis is married with 6 children. In her spare time she enjoys turkey hunting and being outdoors. Philly also gives the best massages around ADC!
Jenna Doeppke- Dental Assistant
Jenna was born in Macon, Georgia and moved to Valdosta when she was 6 years old. She lives in Lake Park, Georgia with her husband Austin. Jenna has been a dental assistant for almost 5 years. She and her husband have one fur baby, Sadie, who is a Great Dane. In her spare time, you might find her fishing on the flats, eating Mexican food, or spoiling Sadie.
Mary Cope- Lab Assistant
Mary was born and raised in Valdosta. She moved to Hahira in 2003 with her husband. They have 3 children, Logan, Will and Emma and one grandson Tucker Roy. She loves baking and spending time with her friends and family. She began her career in dentistry/orthodontics over 21 years ago and has been with ADC since January 2021.
Logan Johnson- Dental Assistant
Logan is from Lake Park, Georgia and graduated from Lowndes High School in 2013. She loves our patients and serving others around her as Dr. Woodward's assistant. Outside of work she enjoys serving in ministry along side her husband Trent, crafting, thrifting and spending quality time with her family.
Erica Hernandez
Erica is a Dental Assistant to Dr. Ashley Moorman. She was born in Brunswick, GA and moved to Valdosta in October of 2021 to be with her husband, Trevor. She has been an assistant for 5 years and has been with ADC for 2 years. In her spare time Erica loves riding her two horses, Honey and Reba and spoiling her pups, Willie and Waylon.
